At Nsimbi Impact, your privacy and the security of your data are of utmost importance to us. Nsimbi is a data-driven, female-led investment platform designed to expand financial access for women-led businesses across Sub-Saharan Africa, starting in Uganda.

Our work is rooted in over a decade of grassroots experience through Women in Technology Uganda (WITU) and Hive Colab. We’ve trained and supported thousands of women entrepreneurs and early-stage startups. Through this journey, we learned that while talent and determination are abundant, access to capital is the key barrier for many women. Nsimbi was created to help bridge that gap.

We manage two catalytic funds through our platform:

• The Micro Business Fund – offering flexible, collateral-free loans to micro-entrepreneurs.

• The SME Growth Fund – providing patient capital and strategic support to scale-ready businesses.

To deliver our services effectively, we collect and use data responsibly and transparently. Our model emphasizes community trust: we collaborate with Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to identify, vet, and support investable women entrepreneurs. Through our platform, users also benefit from continuous support via digital tools, multilingual voice interfaces, and chatbot-powered business and financial literacy training.
